OER self study course
Staff and students of Uni Graz can access an OER self study course on Moodle (in German). The course consists of 16 learning videos by OER experts from Austria and Germany.
External users can access an older, public version of the course called OER MOOC (Massive Open Online Course). It has been created by the Center for Digital Teaching and Learning in cooperation with other universities and OER experts. The MOOC is available for free on the iMooX platform (in German) and can be completed on a self-study basis to gain an overview of OER.
Guided Training Programme for the OER Practitioner Certification
Our guided training is offered at least once per academic year. The aim of the programme is to provide a comprehensive overview of the theory and practice of OER. This includes both basic information on OER and existing initiatives as well as practical information for teachers and learners who want to use or produce OER. Many practical examples and tips from experienced experts always ensure a link to practice.
The programme consists of three modules:
A self-study course with videos, readings and quizzes that can be completed on the learning platform Moodle at any time.
The basic module with four live webinars on topics such as CC licenses or searching and publishing OERs.
And finally, the advanced module that consists of practical tasks like the development of three Open Educational Resources, and peer exchange in two sessions.
The training programme is offered in German, please visit the German website for more information (language change is possible in the top left corner).
